Intertwined– Orange County and Los Angeles Wedding Planner

January 10, 2011

Intertwined Events is one of the best wedding planning companies serving Los Angeles and Orange County.  It is headed by two amazingly talented coordinators, Katie and Meghan.  These two can handle the big picture of any event without overlooking a single detail.

Here is one of my favorite photos of a wedding they worked on. (Photo by Candice Benjamin)

I recently got the chance to ask Katie and Meghan a few questions about their passion for event planning and here are their responses.

Why do you enjoy wedding planning?

The details that make each wedding unique, the distinct characteristics of each our couples and the love that surrounds a wedding inspire us…to be inspired on a daily basis by new people, new visions, new places and new elements is not only challenging, but rewarding.  We love that each day we are challenged by the new.  Whether it’s designing an entirely new concept, meeting a new client, or working with vendors we have not worked with yet, each day unfolds differently.  To top it off, knowing that we can make a couple, and their families, special day stress free and “perfect” is the biggest gift; we know our clients put all their faith in us on their wedding day and giving them unparalleled service is always our greatest delight.

What is you favorite part of  a wedding?

We love seeing how each couple intertwines their unique personalities into the day.  We also love seeing the bride for the first time that morning.  Some brides are in tears, others can’t stop laughing and some are just taking in every second of the day in quiet awe; it’s that first meeting with them on their wedding day that sets the tone for the rest of their beautiful event.  For us, being part of that day/vision from the very beginning is special and rewarding.

What other types of events do you plan?

We love non profit events.  The thrill of working within a tight budget but knowing that all the work is paying off for a deserving client is worth every hour we pour into its success.  Beyond non profits and corporate galas, fundraisers and product launches, we do special events like anniversary parties, bridal showers, birthdays and whatever may call for a celebration!

How is Intertwined different than other planning companies?

We love that everyone has a passion for their job in this industry; it truly is infectious.  But for us, the passion goes beyond just planning the wedding.  We get to know each of our brides on a different level; I love that our couples have become friends.  We work harder than anyone to ensure they have the most amazing day, without any stress through the entire process. We deliver and exceed on our promises so that couples can enjoy the moment they promise their lives to one another! To say we go to bat for our clients is an understatement; we strive to hit it out of the park every time.

Here are a few more photos of events created by Interwined…..

Interwined is so great at planning, we recently asked them to do our window display at Studio 404 Weddings in Belmont Shore.  Katie came up with some fantastic ideas for our winter display and here is a picture of how it turned out.
