1960s Themed Fundraising Event- Long Beach Museum of Art

November 14, 2010

I absolutely LOVE the Long Beach Museum of Art.  They always have interesting exhibits and help to promote art education.  The top floor of the museum features their permanent collection, while the second floor features artwork currently on loan, and the bottom floor of the museum is dedicated to educational programs for local school children.  This non-profit gallery is funded through donations, visitors, and fundraising events.

I was thrilled to create the floral arrangements for their latest fundraiser. We used orange Gerber daisies to stick with the flower power event.   It was 1960s themed–totally groovy–complete with a Beatles tribute band, palm readers, and lots of other fun booths!  See for yourself…..
